Blu 。A series of short horror stories based around Japanese myths and urban legends. The series is framed around an old man telling these tales to schoolchildren on a playground using kamishibai, a traditional Japanese storytelling method using paper scrolls. Each week at dusk, a man in a yellow mask arrives at a nearby playground. Join the crowd at his feet to listen and learn from the mysterious storyteller. He recounts tales of horror to a captive audience, each story darker and more sinister than the last. Drawing from traditional paper dramas, his stories are a weave of myths, urban legends, and rumors from Japan’s long history of haunting tales. Enter a realm where madness reigns and ordinary objects become lightning rods for pure evil in Theatre of Darkness: Yamishibai!
